At MantraPrint, we take immense pride in the quality of our products. We use state-of-the-art technology and premium materials to ensure that every order meets the highest standards. However, we understand that sometimes things may not go as planned. This policy outlines the conditions under which we accept returns and process refunds.
Our Fundamental Principle: Because every product we print is custom-made specifically for you (personalized with your designs, text, and images), we generally do not accept returns or offer refunds simply because you changed your mind, ordered the wrong size, or provided an incorrect design file. Please proofread your designs carefully before placing your order.
We will, however, gladly accept returns and offer a full refund or reprint in the cases of defects, errors on our part, or shipping damages.
1. When Are Returns & Refunds Applicable?
We stand behind our work. You are eligible for a return and refund/reprint under the following scenarios:
A. Manufacturing Defects:
This includes issues that are our responsibility, such as:
- Misprints, smudged, or blurred printing.
- Incorrect cuts or faulty finishing (e.g., crooked binding, flawed lamination).
- Use of demonstrably wrong materials than what was ordered.
- Physical damage to the product that occurred during production (e.g., deep scratches, tears).
B. Major Shipping Damage:
If your order arrives severely damaged due to mishandling by the courier company (e.g., crushed box, water damage, torn contents), you may be eligible for a refund or reprint.
C. Wrong or Missing Items:
If you receive an order that is completely different from what you ordered, or if items are missing from your package.
2. When Are Returns & Refunds NOT Applicable?
Due to the custom nature of our products, we cannot accept returns or issue refunds for:
- Customer-Provided Design Errors:Â Spelling mistakes, grammar errors, low-resolution images, or incorrect color codes (RGB vs. CMYK) in the file you uploaded.
- Incorrect Order Placement:Â Ordering the wrong product type, size, quantity, or paper material.
- Color Variations Minor color variations can occur due to differences in monitor calibrations. The colors on your screen may not match the printed output perfectly. This is not considered a defect.
- Minor Imperfections:Â Very slight variations in trimming or binding that do not significantly impact the product’s usability or appearance.
- Change of Mind:Â Simply deciding you no longer want the product.
- Incorrect Shipping Address:Â If you provide an incorrect or incomplete address leading to non-delivery or return of the package.
3. The Return & Refund Process: A Step-by-Step Guide
If you believe your issue falls under the eligible categories, please follow these steps:
Step 1: Notify Us Immediately
- You must inform us within 48 hours of receiving your order.
- Contact us at info@mantraprint.in with your Order Number and clear photographs/videos of the issue.
Step 2: Provide Evidence
- For Damaged Items: Take clear, well-lit photographs of the damaged product and the shipping packaging it arrived in.
- For Defective Items: Take clear, close-up photographs or a short video highlighting the specific defect (e.g., blurry print, binding issue).
- This evidence is crucial for us to assess the problem and initiate a claim with our shipping partner if necessary.
Step 3: Our Assessment
- Our quality team will review your claim and evidence within 2-3 business days.
- We may request additional information or photos to better understand the issue.
Step 4: Resolution (If Approved)
Once your claim is approved, we will offer one of two solutions:
- Free Reprint:Â We will reproduce your order correctly and ship it to you at no extra cost. (This is our most common solution).
- Full Refund: We will process a full refund of your order amount (including shipping costs) to your original payment method. The time taken for the refund to reflect in your account will depend on your bank’s processing time, typically between 7-14 business days.
Step 5: Returning the Product (If Requested)
- In some cases, we may require you to return the defective/wrong items to us.
- We will provide a pre-paid return shipping label and instructions. Please do not ship the items back until you have received explicit instructions from our support team.
4. Refund Methods & Timelines
- Refunds will be processed only to the original payment method used during the purchase. We cannot issue refunds to a different account or card.
- Processing Time:Â Once approved, our team will process the refund within 3-5 business days.
- Bank Processing Time: After we initiate the refund, it may take your bank or payment gateway (e.g., Paytm, PhonePe, credit card issuer) an additional 5-10 business days to credit the amount back to your account. This timeline is beyond our control.
5. Cancellation Policy
- You may cancel your order without any penalty only if it has not yet entered the production process.
- To request a cancellation, email us at info@mantraprint.in with your order number immediately.
- If we successfully cancel the order, a full refund will be processed.
- If your order has already been processed and sent to production, we will be unable to cancel it due to its custom nature.
